The Infamous Kona Count

The "Kona Count" is a well-known measuring stick for the triathlon industry, and it's also pretty fun to look at. Where does your gear stack up?

All data below attributed to lavamagazine.com.

"As over 2,000 of the world’s top Ironman athletes checked their bikes at Kailua Pier, dozens of tri industry players tallied bikes and components for the annual litmus test of buying trends. The annual count gives the triathlon industry a scope of what the sport’s best athletes are buying and an idea of who will be the major players for the next few years."
